Merry Christmas 2014

 12/12/14

Merry Christmas!!! May you be filled with joy and peace this holiday season. May blessings be showered down upon you and may you remember to celebrate the real reason for the season, the birth of our Savior and Lord, Jesus Christ. Without Him we would be lost. We have been blessed beyond measure and don't deserve the love and mercy He brings into our lives daily. We owe it all to Him. This holiday season we are filled with gratitude for our family, for the roof over our heads, food on our tables and clothes on our backs. We truly have everything we could have ever wanted or imagined.
What an incredibly blessed and wonderful year it has been for us. This year, and especially this last month, has flown by in a whirlwind. We have been busy adjusting to life as a family of four. My hubby and I have been simply overflowing with the love and joy our two daughters bring into our lives daily. We have adored the sweet chatter and shyness of our eldest Eliana. She has been giving all of us hugs and kisses, including all her toys, our phones, and everything else she loves. Isabelle is so cuddly, strong and determined. We have quite the eater on our hands, she loves mamas milk, hates being burped and loves to lay around looking at us and the Christmas tree.  Our days have been so busy, filled with feedings all day and night, lots of laundry and many sleepless nights. But through it all we have also enjoyed loads and loads of kisses and cuddles with both our girls and laughter and smiles have filled our days.
This year we were waiting for the birth of our little Isabelle to do our Christmas photos. Isabelle was exactly two weeks old and Eliana 1 year 8 months, when we decided to take them. My sister came over and snapped some photos for us. This was the first family photoshoot that Eliana was cooperative and happy as a clam. I just love her happy little face in every photo. Our little girl has grown into such a big girl. Its incredible how having a newborn makes your little baby grow up over night. Isabelle wasn't as cooperative for the photos, refusing to sleep and demanding milk the entire time.  I had to feed her before, during and after the pictures and as soon as the paci left her mouth her little face scrunched up, upset at us. lol In the end we got many pictures to choose from. Many sweet moments with our girls frozen in time forever. I will always treasure these first photos of us as a little family of four.
Thank you for stopping by and my wish is that you have a wonderful time celebrating the best holidays of the year! Merriest of Christmas's to you!
